DeckVision (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian-operated AI deck visualisation platform. We help homeowners visualise deck designs and connect with local builders.

- Contact details: name, phone number, email address, and postcode
- Photos: images of your backyard or existing deck that you upload for AI visualisation
- Project details: deck material preferences, budget range, timeline, and notes
- Usage data: anonymous funnel events (e.g. photo uploaded, design generated, quote requested), the page visited, and campaign attribution (UTM parameters and referrer) if you arrived from a link
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate AI deck visualisations from your uploaded photos
- To connect you with up to 3 vetted local decking builders (quote requests only)
- To improve our AI models and platform experience
- To send you relevant follow-up communications if you request quotes
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share your details with builders when you explicitly request quotes. Builders receive your name, phone number, postcode, project details, and uploaded photos to provide accurate quotes.
5. Photo Storage & Processing
Photos you upload are processed by our AI system to generate deck visualisations. Uploaded photos and generated images are stored securely and may be retained to improve our service. You can request deletion of your photos at any time by contacting us.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use a small number of essential first-party cookies: a counter for the free visualisation limit and, if you purchase a Design Pack, a token that unlocks it on your device. Our analytics are first-party and anonymous — we record funnel events (like "photo uploaded") without third-party tracking cookies or advertising identifiers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
